Invest Africa ( www.InvestAfrica.com ), the leading pan-African business platform, is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in the United Kingdom and the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Investments and Exports (AMDIE) to organize an investor mission to Morocco from 2 to 5 December 2024. This delegation, composed of 30 senior executives and investors from major British and international companies, will aim to explore the investment opportunities offered by Morocco, with a particular focus on the energy, infrastructure and financial services sectors. This program reinforces the momentum initiated earlier this year through the collaboration between Invest Africa and the Embassy of Morocco at the Morocco Investment Forum, held in London.

Strategically located at the crossroads of Africa, Europe and the Middle East, Morocco presents a wide range of opportunities for international investors. Under the visionary leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the country has adopted a new investment charter, designed to simplify business procedures and provide enhanced support to foreign companies. Morocco’s forward-thinking policies in the areas of renewable energy and infrastructure further consolidate its role as a preferred gateway to the African market.

This investor mission comes at a critical time as Morocco prepares to co-host the 2030 FIFA World Cup, providing a unique window into the country’s booming sectors. The delegation will enjoy privileged access to key decision-makers, including ministers and business leaders, through exclusive meetings, visits to strategic sites, and participation in the Africa Investment Forum hosted by the African Development Bank. The event will highlight major investment opportunities across the country.

Chantelé Carrington, CEO of Invest Africa, said of the mission: “In a context where strategic positioning is essential, Morocco stands out for its stability, innovation and tremendous growth potential. This mission aims to uncover the untapped or underexploited potential that Morocco offers to international investors. In partnership with the Moroccan Embassy in the UK, we are creating a platform where business meets opportunity, paving the way for sustainable and high-impact investments in this key African market.”

His Excellency Hakim Hajoui, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the United Kingdom, highlighted the importance of this initiative: “Under the visionary leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Morocco has strengthened its role as a hub for trade and innovation. Building on the success of our collaborations with Invest Africa, this mission offers investors a unique opportunity to experience first-hand the concrete opportunities available to them. These are not just potential prospects, but real opportunities that require immediate action on the ground. We are confident that this mission will result in tangible and significant achievements that will accelerate Morocco’s economic progress and support sustainable development across the African continent.”

Throughout the five-day program, delegates will participate in high-level meetings, strategic site visits, and networking events, providing them with direct access to public and private sector leaders in Morocco. This initiative aims to facilitate the identification of concrete investment opportunities, while fostering the creation of lasting partnerships that will support Morocco’s economic growth and sustainable development across the African continent.

Invest Africa has extensive experience in organising trade and investment missions across the African continent, with recent visits to Zambia, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Angola. This mission continues this legacy, providing delegates with privileged access to one of Africa’s most promising markets.
